Ideal Protein Plan for Fast Weight Loss & A Review of its Side Effects

What is the Ideal Protein?

Thousands of Worldwide Physicians and Clinics use the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Method as a tool to help people lose weight fast and keep it off.  This method was initially developed by Dr. Tran Tien Chanh, who dedicated his whole career to research of nutrition with a particular emphasis on the treatment of obesity and health issues related to it.

The program was developed to help dieters lose weight fast with ideal protein program and is designed in a way to limit carbohydrate intake while providing a sufficient quantity of protein and micronutrients for the body to encourage the body to use stored fats as fuel, similar to a savings account.

Most people don’t realize that both simple and complex carbohydrates can block weight loss. The first source of energy for the body is obtained from glycogen (stored sugars from carbohydrates) and in order to burn fat, it is necessary to deplete the glycogen reserves entirely so that the body is forced to rely on burning its own stored fat for energy. The term ketosis means that the body is using the stored fat as fuel, which is why the Ideal Protein keto diet is so effective.
High-quality, non-GMO, bioavailable proteins are the foundation of Ideal Protein foods. These products are efficiently utilized by the human body to support metabolism, the foundation of which is lean muscle-mass, ensuring that the body is able to maintain efficient and calorie-burning abilities post-diet to keep you from regaining the weight. Ideal Protein foods are available only through an authorized center.

Ideal Protein Phase 1 Diet List

Phase 1 of the diet is where people lose weight fast. In fact, you will stay on the phase 1 diet and phase 1 foods list until you reach your goal weight. During phase 1 you will consume 3-5 Ideal Protein foods each day. Most of these meals provide 20 grams of protein and less than 150 calories.
Along with the 3-5 Ideal Protein foods, you will also consume real, whole foods following a specific diet. In ketosis, there are no issues with hunger and for those that are concerned about it, there are also specified vegetables from the list that you can eat in unlimited quantities. For most dieters, it’s difficult for them to eat all of their food.

Dieters are required to consume the following supplements in addition to their meals. These supplements are designed to ensure the body obtains all the necessary vitamins and minerals to support the bodily functions, energy levels and maximize weight loss. These supplements may also onlybe purchased through authorized clinics or centers. The Ideal Protein supplement protocol is as follows:

Breakfast: 1 multivitamin and 1 potassium supplement.
Snack: 2 calcium-magnesium supplements.
Dinner: 1 multivitamin, 2 calcium-magnesium supplements and 2 omega-3 supplements.
Once a day: 1/4 a teaspoon of Ideal Salt.

During the first 2-3 weeks, exercise is generally not recommended, because the Ideal Protein diet drastically reduces calorie intake, and it may cause unwanted side effects as the body is adjusting to being in ketosis. In fact, that’s a benefit of Ideal Protein – you lose weight fast but don’t need to exercise since the body is already burning through it’s stored fat. Exercise at too high of an intensity can actually stop you from losing weight.

Different then the popular Keto diet, you have to reduce fat intake temporarily on the Ideal Protein Diet. The reason is that your body will need to burn through all of the fat you eat before it starts to burn the stored fat if your body. This diet approaches ketosis differently, making it more effective at burning fat and helping you lose weight fast.

The Ideal Protein diet is based upon the science of lasting weight loss, applying the principles of a Ketogenic Diet during phases 1 and 2 - alongside healthy lifestyle education.

What are the side effects of the Ideal Protein Diet?

Fatigue: It's obvious to always be aware of any side effects and discomfort while implementing any dietary changes and to pay attention to how that impacts the body. Your body must initially adjust to a ketogenic state, rather than the Ideal Protein foods themselves. Mild symptoms such as hunger, fatigue, and headaches are quickly resolved by minor adjustments that your coach will make. During weight loss, the body release and eliminate the toxins from fat cells that the body stored from the previous foods you were eating before the Ideal Protein Diet.

Don't worry, most side effects are very mild and typically only the first few days of your diet and as you follow the Ideal Protein Meal Plan, these possible effects quickly disappear as your body makes the transformation to fat burning. These symptoms are typical of any Ketogenic Diet, not just Ideal Protein

Hunger: If you are hungry, don’t worry – it’s only for a short period of time as your body enters ketosis. Hunger can be avoided by following the schedule of your Ideal Protein Meal Plan. You will have more than enough meals and snack, as well as you can eat unlimited greens and select vegetables. Most dieters report hunger is minimal and can be easily eliminated by following the guidance of your coach.

On the Ideal Protein diet, your total number of calories you’ll be eating will be limited although once you go into ketosis, your body will have access to thousands of calories in the form of stored fat. Once your body adapts to the change of burning the fat stored in your body rather than the calories you eat, the hunger disappears.

You may eat up to 5 Ideal Protein foods (but only one restricted) if you feel hungry, it’ only for the first few days. You can eat endless salads and greens during your diet, which will add fiber to your diet and will help you feel full. By the fourth day, your body should be in ketosis and the hunger will quickly disappear. If you stick to the protocol, the hunger will not return. This is one reason that cheating can be detrimental to fast fat loss, it means every time you cheat, this period will start over.

Headaches: One of the side effects could be headaches as you reduce the amount of sugar from your normal diet and transition into your Ideal Protein Meal Plan. Headaches typically occur when insulin secretion is abruptly reduced. Again, this is the body adjusting to the elimination of the foods that caused you to gain weight rather than coming from the Ideal Protein foods. If you experience headaches, don’t worry as they will subside after the first few days.

To get rid of headaches, you can take 1/3 of a teaspoon of sea salt in 8 oz of water for the first few days. Headaches later in the protocol are caused by lack of water and can be eliminated simply by making sure you get your enough water intake every day. Water will also help speed up the process and help you lose weight faster.

Nausea: Nausea is another side effect some people feel for the first day or two after you start your Ideal Protein diet. Especially if you normally skip breakfast, you may briefly experience mild nausea.
If that happens, there are several light Ideal Protein foods such as the Cappuccino Drink Mix or Chocolate Drink Mix, which may be easier to start. If you’re not used to having a big breakfast, breakfast foods like the pancake or omelet may take a few days to work up to.

Bad Breath: A helpful side effect of the Ideal Protein Diet as it indicates you are in ketosis. If you have bad breath, Xylitol mints in limited quantities are allowed if you stay in ketosis.

Constipation: If you don’t drink your water and eat your vegetables, you may experience this side effect. It can be avoided by simply following the guidelines of the Ideal Protein diet plan including all vegetables and a minimum of 64oz of water daily.

Low Blood Sugar: Can be a more common side effect for those with diabetes and insulin resistance. Eating frequent snack will help alleviate this symptom.

Dizziness: For those on blood pressure medications or a history of high blood pressure (hypertension), it is recommended to check your blood pressure daily and see your doctor if your BP is consistently low. In addition to helping you lose weight fast; Ideal Protein is an effective way to reverse high blood pressure. Those on medications will typically need to have their prescribing physician lower their dose after just 2-3 weeks.

BioIntelligent Wellness

Those are the typical Ideal Protein Diet side effects. The good news is; they’re temporary and most can be avoided! Stick to the protocol of the Ideal Protein Meal Plan, drink enough water, eat all your veggies, get your sea salt in and you shouldn’t experience any of these side effects after the first few days, if at all.
